First podium of the season for Bianchi
A first podium of the season for Jules Bianchi in the second round of the World Series Renault. The Ferrari Driver Academy youngster, who this year is also reserve driver for Team Sahara Force India in Formula 1, finished second in his Tech 1 Racing car, in the single race held on this busy Monegasque weekend. He was third at the start and immediately gained a place, getting by Alexander Rossi in the Arden Caterham, who eventually joined the podium in third spot. Bianchi ran his race to the end behind poleman Sam Bird in the ISR Team car. With this result, Jules is now seventh in the classification with 18 points to his name. There’s no break in this series as the third round takes place next weekend at the historic Spa-Francorchamps circuit in Belgium.
